FakerFill is designed with privacy in mind. We want to be clear about what data we do and don't collect:

• We DO NOT collect any personal information
• We DO NOT track your browsing history
• We DO NOT send any data to external servers
• We DO NOT use analytics or telemetry

3. Data Storage

Free Plan: All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API:

• Form templates (saved locally only)
• Extension settings and preferences
• UI position and size preferences

Pro Plan (Optional): If you purchase the Pro plan, you can optionally enable cloud sync to sync your templates and settings across devices:

• Templates and preferences are encrypted and stored on secure servers (Supabase)
• Data is only synced when you activate your Pro license
• You can disable cloud sync at any time
• Data is never shared with third parties

4. Permissions

FakerFill requires the following browser permissions:

• activeTab: To detect and fill forms on the current page
• storage: To save templates and settings locally
• tabs: To communicate between extension components
• alarms: To periodically check Pro license status (Pro users only)

These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality. We request the minimum permissions necessary to provide form-filling features.

5. Third-Party Services

Free Plan:

• Faker.js: Open-source library for generating fake data (runs entirely in your browser, no external communication)

Pro Plan (Optional):

• Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment data securely. We do not store credit card information.
• Supabase: Secure cloud storage for Pro users' templates and settings (opt-in feature).

These services are only used if you choose to purchase the Pro plan.

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, it benefits from Chrome's built-in security measures. We recommend:

• Keeping your browser updated
• Using secure passwords for your browser profile
• Being cautious when syncing browser data across devices

7. Children's Privacy

FakerFill is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
